81 books down, 155 days to go! We can do it!

Hey all! I finished How To Ditch Your Fairy by Justine Larbalestier. Charlie, 14, lives in New Avalon, where almost evryone has a fairy, their own little personal fairy. Charlie has a parking cars fairy, she can park any car perfectly in under 10 seconds. But Charlie doesn't like her fairy, she doesn't drive and doesn't like the exhaust. Charlies best friend Rochelle has a clothes fairy that makes everything she tries on perfect on her. And Charlie's enemy? She has a fairy tht will make any guy she want fall in love with her. So to get her fairy to go away she refuses to ever get in the car and drive. So she and her enemy temporarily put up with eachother to come up with a plan to switch their fairies, and she learns to be careful about what she wishes for. With"every boy will love you" fairy, girls turn on Charlie, and she begins to wonder if her crush Steffi likes her or is he's just under the spell of the fairy. Charlie is a like-able girl, but she just doesn't know.
This book was alright, but the setting seemed to be in New Avalon London, if there is such a thing. The slang is kinda strange but overall this book was okay, 2.5/5.

Hey All. As I said in my last post, we're not giving up.
I finished 2 books.. Boy Proof (funny-ish but very strange) and Amazing Grace.
Boy Proof is about a (kind of insane) girl named Victoria who likes to go by Egg, her favorite superhero. She even dresses like her by wearing a white cape/cloak and has a shaved head. She is in Science Fiction and fantasy clubs, gets A's in every class, and doesn't have (nor really wants) friends. She's "Egg." But soon Max Carter, gorgeous and sifi-interested, comes to Victoria's Prep School and catches her attention when he seems to be interested in her, though she "considers herself boy proof– too smart and tough to be appealing to guys." They have a silly "romance" and I thought this book was okay, but very, very strange.

Amazing Grace is about a girl Grace Kinkaid who happens to be a world-known famous teenage tennis player. But she hates the constant fame which is tearing apart her life, so she moves to a remote cabin in Alaska witha former FBI agent, changing her name to Emily and everything. And though at first she has some rather ruff patches she begins to fit in well, becoming a normal girl; all of it. The crushes, the best friends, and the self-discovery. An okay book.
Can't wait to finish Generation Dead!
The first female guest host of "Saturday Night Live" was Candace Bergen.

Hi Everyone. I have some very serious news. I can no longer trust blogspot/blogger. Though we will not resign. I was looking up 200bookmarathon on another computer and got this,
http://www.feedage.com/feeds/8969762/200-book-marathon . This website is being feed every single one of my posts. Please understand that our html is http://200bookmarathon.blogspot.com/ . Do not go to the first site, it's not an original (yes, some people might be reading this from 'feedage,' my fellow readers).
I'm really disapionted, considering they have more viewers than I do, also. And they're the fake! Not me! Well, readers please continue to go to the real blog, http://200bookmarathon.blogspot.com/ . Thank you!

It's Lizzy... no duh. :)
I finished Coffeehouse Angel, not my favorite book. It was very much a candy book, a book that you read that doesn't have a very good plot. Though this book had mild fantasy, which I like, I don't think it was written too well.

75 books down, 166 days to go!

i finished Beastly, Are You There God? It's Me Margaret, and Prom Nights from Hell.

Beastly Was FANTASTIC! Copied stragiht from B&N.com
A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog but a horrible new creature who walks upright – a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster.
You think I’m talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. It’s no deformity, no disease. And I’ll stay this way forever – ruined – unless I can break the spell.
Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she urn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night? I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and the perfect life. And then, I’ll tell you how I became perfectly . . . beastly.

Prom Nights from hell! Copied straight from B&N.com
In Prom Dates from Hell, bestselling authors Meg Cabot (How to Be Popular), Stephenie Meyer (Twilight), Lauren Myracle (ttyl), Michele Jaffe (Bad Kitty) and Kim Harrison (A Fistful of Charms) take bad prom dates to a whole new level -- a paranormally bad level. From vampires to grim reapers to a creepy update on the classic three-wishes-gone-terribly awry tale "The Monkey's Paw," these stories will entertain better than any DJ in a bad tux can. No corsage or limo rental necessary. Just good, scary fun.

Are You There God? It's me, Margaret. Copied straight from B&N.com No one ever told Margaret Simon that eleven-going-on- twelve would be such a hard age. When her family moves to New Jersey, she has to adjust to life in the suburbs, a different school, and a whole new group of friends. Margaret knows she needs someone to talk to about growing up-and it's not long before she's found a solution. Are you there God? It's me, Margaret. I can't wait until two o'clock God. That's when our dance starts. Do you think I'll get Philip Leroy for a partner? It's not so much that I like him as a person God, but as a boy he's very handsome. And I'd love to dance with him... just once or twice. Thank you God. Funny.

72 books down, 170 days to go!

yep.. I finished Intertwined, a book about a boy with four souls living inside of him. They talk to him. One can see the future, one can take Aden back in time, one can raise the dead, and one can possess other bodies. I have to go work on my S.S. project but this book is amazing!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLwEAFCCWOc

Most sixteen-year-olds have friends. Aden Stone has four human souls living inside him:

One can time-travel.

One can raise the dead.

One can tell the future.

And one can possess another human.

With no other family and a life spent in and out of institutions, Aden and the souls have become friends. But now they're causing him all kinds of trouble. Like, he'll blink and suddenly he's a younger Aden, reliving the past. One wrong move, and he'll change the future. Or he'll walk past a total stranger and know how and when she's going to die.

He's so over it. All he wants is peace.

And then he meets a girl who quiets the voices. Well, as long as he's near her. Why? Mary Ann Gray is his total opposite. He's a loner; she has friends. He doesn't care what anyone thinks; she tries to make everyone happy. And while he attracts the paranormal, she repels it. For her sake, he should stay away. But it's too late.

Somehow, they share an inexplicable bond of friendship. A bond about to be tested by a werewolf shape-shifter who wants Mary Ann for his own, and a vampire princess Aden can't resist.

Two romances, both forbidden. Still, the four will enter a dark underworld of intrigue and danger—but not everyone will come out alive.
